About Our Church

The Coos Bay Seventh-day Adventist church family is a family where Jesus is our absolute head! We are so touched by His and His Father's sacrifice of love for us that we are moved to love each other, to serve each other, to lift up each other. His Love and Grace for us has so moved us to be known as a family of love and grace; growing ever deeper in love, in grace, in service in Christian maturity. We are a family who loves, loves, loves the Bible! We are told that "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." If we are to come to a place in our experience where we trust God completely, then we must hear and obey His voice, and the voice of the Holy Spirit in our lives. And, we learn to hear and obey through spending time in His Holy Word, the Bible. So, yes! Because we want to experience Jesus more and more in our lives, and in our church, we spend time reading and studying the word of God.

About Seventh-day Adventists
The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a world-wide organization with more than 15 million members in countries around the world.

Adventists believe a Trinity of three persons--the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit--make up one God. They made salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father's will. When Jesus was crucified for the sins of the people of the world and arose from the dead on the third day, victory was won for everyone. More >>
